Apple of My Eye

Today, I have a card using the stamp set Apple of My Eye.  I made this just for my Art Director, who is feeling so much better these days.   When he isn't knocking stuff off my desk, he is just the sweetest thing lately.   He loves ice cream too!IMG_6836 I am not a huge fan of Blushing Bride, but once I read the colors used in the Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper pack, I knew it was going to work out!  I love the way the Watermelon Wonder made that paper pop!   I used my Fast Fuse tape runner and ran a strip down the back of my scrap of ribbon, then I just folded it and added it to the card.  Believe it or not, that ribbon it is actually 2 pieces of scraps.  I bet you would have never guessed if I hadn't told you!   Here are the other Items I used!

Ooh…free rhinestones! Neato frito! 🙂 Even better is hearing that my pal Cecil is a happy kitty!
I still want to come see Cecil (and you and Larry, too, of course…and, not to leave Don out, to wave at him as I walk to your scrap room! :)) when it’s convenient for you. Maybe we can make more stuff. I’m wanting to play with my bear stamp set I got from the mini catalog. Ideas? I can bring it over if you don’t have it. It would be fun!
