Well, I am not sure why I chose this color combination, but I can say for sure, I definitely stepped outside of my comfort zone.
I do like it but it is just a little dark. I used the new in colors Midnight Muse, Summer Starfruit,
Raspberry Ripple and Basic Black.
The flower was embossed with black powder, and then I used my Aqua Painter with bleach to color or rather bleach out my paper. Depending on how much bleach you apply, is how light the paper becomes. This will only work with paper that is dyed, pure color all the way through, like Stampin’
Up sells.
I also used my Big Shot with the Lacy Brocade embossing folder, and the Apothecary Famelits.
Stamp sets used were Everything Eleanor and Word Play. For the white tips on the flower, I used our uni-ball Signo Gel Pen (pg 157) and of course there is one little petal that has a little bit of Dazzling Details on it, just because no card should ever be made without some BLING!
Never let a card get away without a hint of Dazzling Detail or other Bling!
