Sometimes, that holiday thing can be a bit overwhelming. I get tired thinking about everything I have done in the last month. It does not help when your art director gets sick, poor little Cecil, had to go to the vet.
He had on his “go to Florida outfit” and was thrilled to ride in the car, but when the trip only lasted 15 minutes he knew something was wrong. Once inside, he looked for an escape,
but he was stuck! Sometimes, after a day like this, running the cat to the vet, going to a regular pharmacy to get his meds, the grocery store to get his favorite cream cheese to put his pill in, I wonder who works for who? Anyway, Cecil will be fine in about a week, he has an eye infection so he won’t be helping out as art director for a few days. Guess I am on my own….so today’s card is a super easy and cute card.
This card features the set, Another Great Year from the new spring catalog and you will be able to order it starting January 3, 2014!
The card base is Bermuda Bay, then I used our watercolor paper, my ink pads and aqua painters to get streak the back ground, died it on low with the heat gun, used VersaMark to stamp the image, and embossed it with Pewter embossing powder. Last thing I used was Birthday Basics designer series paper from the big catalog! I rounded the corners with my envelope maker. I just love how SU products have so many different uses!

On no! Not my sweet little pal Cecil! I hope he feels much better soon and I hope the vet visit wasn't too traumatic. He's so handsome in his harness. I need to work on getting Violet to wear one, too!
