Teresa Buchholz, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

I fell in love with stamping with my first card and became a Stampin' Up Independent Demonstrator in February 2009. Creating fresh project ideas, cards, scrapbook pages and gifts is more that just stamps and ink, it is about sharing part of yourself with crafters you love.

Beach Baby!

February 27, 2012 1 Comment

Recently, I met a fabulous artist named Krista Smith.   I had never heard of her, but she shared some of her designs with me!   WOW!   I came home and went to her blog, (Saturated Canary) and Etsy site.  I am getting ready to go to the beach so when I saw this "Beach Baby"  I just had to have her.

While I was busy checking out Krista's blog, my friend called and started telling me about how she saw on Krista's blog that she was at the same I class I had gone to, and did I meet her?    How funny is that?

Thank you Krista for this darling digi!

Isn't she the cutest?   Yes, this has nothing to do with Stampin' Up, except for the Melon Mambo card stock, this card was mounted on.   Please don't tell the Stampin' Up police, because I am having too much fun with this cutie pie!   I think it needs some more shells, so I may make a few more to add to the outside.   Compared to the other cards on Saturated Canary, this is a little plain, even with her bling at the top pf her little mesh ruffle!

I am really happy that I met Krista and saw her work, such a fabulously talented lady!
I know my card is not as fabulous as those posted on her website, but I'm going to upload it anyway, a girl has got to start somewhere!

WOW!!!  What a fabulous card!  The only thing that would make her absolutely perfect would be if she were a redhead!!!  LOL  Although I guess blonde does good better with a pink wardrobe!!  Can't wait to go to the beach!  :o)
