I went to see RIO with some of my inky stamping friends and fell in love with the monkey that wore a watch for a belt. While the movie was playing, I whispered to my friends that I was going to make that monkey for our punch art class book. Well, here he is wearing "just some things they found"!
Unfortunately, his arms & legs are made with the retiring Photo Corners Punch #119878. So if you are a monkey fan you might want to pick this punch up real soon, before it is gone. It is one of those while supplies last items.
For the rest of him I used these punches:
Head-2 1/2" circle punch, 1" circle, 1/2" circle & the owl punch for the eyes, and the owl body for his nose(cut off feet & ears & cut a slit for mouth)
Hair is the Whisper White 5/8" Satin ribbon unraveled!
Body is an oval from the Big Shot Ovals die cut.
Hand is a small leaf from the Blossoms punch.
His feet are the small oval cut in half.
Hope you enjoy this little guy as much as I do, he is a little bigger than most punch art but, I am going to frame him and give him a wall of fame in my stamping room.

Happy Stamping.

Aww… I think the name of this monkey is Mauro. Sorry for my bad English, I'm brazilian.
I love Mauro, too. He's cute. He's a thief, but a cute thief.
