Teresa Buchholz, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

I fell in love with stamping with my first card and became a Stampin' Up Independent Demonstrator in February 2009. Creating fresh project ideas, cards, scrapbook pages and gifts is more that just stamps and ink, it is about sharing part of yourself with crafters you love.

Here is my first card!  I think the stamp set Visions of Santa and the matching paper are just too much fun!

IMG_4088This is a side step card.  The only thing that is actually stamped on this card is the Christmas Tree and the saying "May Visions of Santas Dance in Your Head".    The snow was hand cut from Dazzling Diamonds Glitter Paper and layered with dimensionals.  Next, I used some silver plumbers tape on the back of Santa & Co. Designer Series Paper and fussy cut out my characters.   The plumbers tape makes the design easy to cut out and it will keep the paper from bending on the card.   I used Festival of Trees to stamp the tree and added Red Dazzling Details on the tree after punching it out with the new Tree Punch.

My next card uses the stamp sets Ornamental Pine and Endless Wishes .

IMG_4089 The card base is Lost Lagoon, the next layer is Soft Sky, a piece of All is Calm Designer Series Paper, and the images are stamped on whisper.  The   Christmas onrament is stamped on Lost Lagoon card stock with Lost Indigo and before the ink dried I sprinkled Clear Embossing on it and heated with my embossing gun to make it really shine.  I used Silver 1/8" Ribbon to hang the ornament from the branch.   For the Christmas Wishes, I embossed it with Silver Embossing and the snowflakes are stamped with Lost Lagoon with a rhinestone placed the center to give it just a little more sparkle.

For my last project, I have a treat pouch I made using the new Gift Box Punch Board.

IMG_4090I used a 5 1/4" square of All is Calm Designer Series Paper and punched and scored thre sides all at L start line.  Then I used a piece of Lost Lagoon 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon to tie around it and cut snowflakes and the Joy from glimmer Paper with The Snowflake Thinlits Dies. Then I placed a few Frosted Sequins snowflakes randomly on it and for the final touch …Rhinestones!

Have a great day! And THANK YOU for joining our blog hop!!
