Teresa Buchholz, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

I fell in love with stamping with my first card and became a Stampin' Up Independent Demonstrator in February 2009. Creating fresh project ideas, cards, scrapbook pages and gifts is more that just stamps and ink, it is about sharing part of yourself with crafters you love.

Lotus Blossom Sympathy

March 3, 2015 5 Comments

I have a stamp that says With Heartfelt Sympathy, it was one of the first stamp sets I bought when I discovered stamping 6 years ago.  I have no clue where the rest of the set is or what set it even came from, but I have always kept this stamp.  Today, I am so glad because I needed to make a sympathy card and it looks really great with the Lotus Blossom Sale-A-Bration set.IMG_5056I really like how this turned out!  Here's what I used to make this card.

Then I changed my ink and card stock to Crisp Cantaloupe, added a sheet of Designer Series In-color paper and I had another really nice card. IMG_5057
I hope you don't need a sympathy card, but this would also make a great Thank you card.

The “with heartfelt Sympathy” is part of a 4 piece stamp set called “Close as a Memory”. The other stamps in the set are: a small bouquet of flowers, “Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal” – Thomas Moore and “Your loved one will always be as close as a memory, and the God of all comfort as close as a prayer”. Just in case you want to track them down. It is a wonderful old set!

The sympathy cards you made are beautiful! I look forward to meeting you at Kara’s party!
