Teresa Buchholz, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

I fell in love with stamping with my first card and became a Stampin' Up Independent Demonstrator in February 2009. Creating fresh project ideas, cards, scrapbook pages and gifts is more that just stamps and ink, it is about sharing part of yourself with crafters you love.

Secret Garden with Framelits.

January 4, 2013 2 Comments

I made this card several weeks ago, but I wanted to wait to post it until I had done it by fussy cutting.

Now, seriously, do you actually like this better than the card I fussy cut? Turns out I have two friends that love fussy cutting, they will remain nameless, so as to not be intimidated by the NON-fussy cutters. Truth be known, there are probably more who love to fussy cut but, they are afraid to come out of the fussy cut closet!
Now the moral of this story is to purchase what makes you happy!
To make this card I used:
Stamp set: Secret Garden, and from the retired Holiday mini, Lovely & Lacy for the saying. (I am really hoping it makes it to the new catalog. SU should ask me what I want before they make those crazy decisions….really it is all about me!
Card stocks; Whisper White, Melon Mambo, Pretty in Pink, Gumball Green, and Pink Pirouette
Inks; VersaMark, Melon Mambo
Designer Series used to make the vase was from Sunhine & Sprinkles.
Accessories: “Biggie”, Secret Garden Framelits, Oval Accent Bigz Clear Die, Clear Embossing Powder, & the New SU Heat Tool with 2 settings (low for drying projects or your hair if you aren’t camping at the Marriott where they provide hair dryers , or high for embossing).
I hope your weekend is very inky!
