Teresa Buchholz, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

I fell in love with stamping with my first card and became a Stampin' Up Independent Demonstrator in February 2009. Creating fresh project ideas, cards, scrapbook pages and gifts is more that just stamps and ink, it is about sharing part of yourself with crafters you love.

SPIDERS INVADE HOUSE OF HAUNTS

October 3, 2011 Leave a Comment

I was cleaning up my stamp room and I heard little voices!   It was kind of spooky, as I listened closer, I found that it was my House of Haunts Stamp set begging to come out and play.   I told them no, I'm busy cleaning up the mess I made yesterday.   After several rounds of begging, and of course "self " had to put her 2 cents in and now,  I have an even bigger mess to clean now.  I glad my "self" is happy with this card!   All of the materials used to make this card can be found in the 2011-2012 catalog.  There is so much stuff in there (like House of Haunts) that gets overlooked once the Holiday Mini comes out in September.

I sanded the dsp after embossing it, which made the white of the spider web, then stamped the house with black, cut it out, colored it with SU Markers.

I punched out a spider from the dsp scraps, added a dimension and mounted it on a 1" circle of black .   Please contact me if you have questions about this card!

I used the following items to make this card:

Frightful Sight DSP  #122351

House of Haunts (wood) # 111574

Big Shot (you can get one free or $100 in dies, if you join my team by 10/31/11)

Spider Web Embossing Folder # 120889

Sanding Blocks # 124304

Black Card stock  # 121045

A scrap piece of orange card stock

Large Oval Punch  # 119859

3/4" Circle Punch # 119873

1" Circle Punch # 119868
