Well here we are mid week and as always I am stuggling with my "self". My "self" wants to go to the beach, sit in the sun and do nothing! Now, you have to admit that is not the worst plan, but not practical. I told my "self" I have lots of things to do and that is just not going to happen today. She was not happy with that decision!
Today, I have another card using the stamp set Among the Branches and the Woodland Textured Embossing folder! The eyes did not come out all that great but that is what happens when you don't have the right tools. This would have been perfect if I had my clear embossing powder and heat tool. Since I didn't, I thought I would use my Crystal Effects to cover the eyes so when I watercolored the background they would not disappear. It was a great plan….until….I tried to unclog the tip of the bottle. I some how managed to poke a hole in the base so I ended up trying to apply it with my pokey stick. PLEASE learn from my mistakes, take all of your stamping stuff with you when you go out of town! Here is my bad eyes card!
