Teresa Buchholz, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

I fell in love with stamping with my first card and became a Stampin' Up Independent Demonstrator in February 2009. Creating fresh project ideas, cards, scrapbook pages and gifts is more that just stamps and ink, it is about sharing part of yourself with crafters you love.

What a week, If only I’d been By the Tide

February 28, 2013 4 Comments

I feel like I have abandoned my blog this week. It has been a crazy week, my wonderful UEA(unpaid executive assistant) and husband started chemo and physical therapy this week. Things have been a bit hectic, but I want to share with you a card that we made for club this month. It is special to me because, I collected the shells(real shells) while I was in Florida, right before SU leadership.

I think all of my SU Stamp Club loved making this simple but “special card”. Here is how we made this card:
Marina Mist, Crumb Cake and Whisper White Card stock
By the Tide and Stamp Set
Perfect Plum, Crumb Cake, Chocolate Chip inks
SU chalks, Natural 7/16″ Trim Ribbon, Festive Paper-Piercing Pack
I used the BigShot to make a template with the Labels Collection Framelit
I then repeatedly stamped the sayings from By the Tide
I then used with a dauber and Marina Mist chalk make the soft background.
Happy Inking!

There are so many things I love about this card – the stamped ribbon, the piercing, the design and the real shells – all beautiful additions to a beautiful card! Thanks for sharing it with us at still addINKtive. And I hope your husband is going to be ok and things slow down for you.
