Teresa Buchholz, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

I fell in love with stamping with my first card and became a Stampin' Up Independent Demonstrator in February 2009. Creating fresh project ideas, cards, scrapbook pages and gifts is more that just stamps and ink, it is about sharing part of yourself with crafters you love.

Happy Digital Studio Monday!

April 1, 2013 Leave a Comment

Well, it has finally happened……I made a card using my digital studio. My Ronald McDonald House needs Thank You cards, and I have been struggling to make a few every day. I decided it was time to do a digital card that I could make a lot of cards faster. Here is how it started out,

After it was printed, I cut it into four cards, 4″ x 5.25″. Then I mounted it onto a regular card base.
It looked so blah, that I dug out my retired ribbon, added a strip over the printed ribbon on the card front and then it looked so much better.

Unfortunately, it no longer qualifies as a digital card, it is now what they call a hybrid card. Well, I tried, but it just didn’t WOW me until it had a real embellishment! Can you hear my “self” saying ‘Whatever’?
Happy Monday, I hope the Easter Bunny brought you lots of goodies!
