Teresa Buchholz, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

I fell in love with stamping with my first card and became a Stampin' Up Independent Demonstrator in February 2009. Creating fresh project ideas, cards, scrapbook pages and gifts is more that just stamps and ink, it is about sharing part of yourself with crafters you love.

Dark & Dreary

October 4, 2011 Leave a Comment

While the fall weather is so bright and beautiful, I found myself playing with my Dark & Dreary Stamp set today.

Okay, I admit it, this is about 1 rich razzleberry to the left of normal for me.  I really do not know why, I can't feel the love for this color.  I like it so much better than Crushed Concord, but still not loving it,  even when it is paired with a shade of green.  You' have to give me some credit, at least I didn't make it pink and green.   Now, that's a cool color combination!   Alright, I digress and you want to know how to make this card, so without further ado here's what I used to make this card.

Stamp Set:  Dark & Dreary # 120837 (w),  it also comes in clear # 121151.

Card stock:  Black :),  Old Olive , Whisper White, and Rich Razzleberry:/ found on pages 176-181

Big Shot Embossing:  Spider Web folder #120889

Ribbon: 1/4" Grosgrain  # 120930

Special Effects:  Color Spritzer Tool # 107066  page 203

Inks: Rich Razzleberry, Black  found on pages 176-181

Stampin' Write Marker:  Old Olive also found on pages 176-181

Please join me for one of my classes or workshops if you would like to learn how to use the amazing Color Spritzer Tool.   I love being able to add just a mist of color to my projects and you will too!
