Teresa Buchholz, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

I fell in love with stamping with my first card and became a Stampin' Up Independent Demonstrator in February 2009. Creating fresh project ideas, cards, scrapbook pages and gifts is more that just stamps and ink, it is about sharing part of yourself with crafters you love.

A Touch of Copper!

June 22, 2016 2 Comments

The NEW  Copper Embossing Powder is so fabulous!  I used it with Watercolor Wings and Timeless Texture stamps and the result was quite stunning!  I always love the way embossing powder looks raised and the copper just sparkles!IMG_6978I stamped the butterflies with Dapper Denim on a scrap of Whisper White.  Next I stamped them again with VersaMark and sprinkled on the copper embossing powder.  I heat set them with my Heat Tool and cut them out with my Butterflies Thinlits.   To make the background I used my embossing buddy and rubbed the entire white area. Then I stamped the flourish across the card from the left bottom to the right top right corner with VersaMark and then added my embossing powder.  Once it was heated, I used Dapper Denim to stamp the dots randomly several times without reinking.  Next I decided where I wanted my butterflies and stamped the swirls, body, antennas, and saying.  Then I used a glue dot to position the butterflies!  I hope you like the copper powder as much as I do!  Here is a complete list of supplies I used.
