Teresa Buchholz, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

I fell in love with stamping with my first card and became a Stampin' Up Independent Demonstrator in February 2009. Creating fresh project ideas, cards, scrapbook pages and gifts is more that just stamps and ink, it is about sharing part of yourself with crafters you love.

AN AFTERNOON OF SUNFLOWERS

August 17, 2011 1 Comment

Have you ever had a stamp that you just loved but all the color combinations you try, just don't do anything for you?    I love the big background Sunflower stamp, and nothing I did was clicking, so with a box full of Stampin' Up designer series paper, I decided to make my own.   Oh no, my "self"  said here comes the mess!    I ignored that little voice and pulled out a 12×12 piece of Very Vanilla Card stock, 3 reinkers, a baby wipe and a piece of plastic.  You just need something to put under the baby wipe.    Then I took my Pear Pizazz reinker and put a few drops in the center, then a circle of drops of Peach Parfait around the Pear Pizazz, it should be starting to look like a bulls eye.  The last color was Daffodil Delight, again drop the reinker around the last circle.  It make take a few minutes to spread, your baby wipe will look something like this.

Now you are ready to stamp, place your stamp on the baby wipe and stamp randomly all over a 12 x 12 piece of very vanilla card stock.    After it dries you can cut it into sections and use as you would designer series paper.   I made 10 cards from that 12 x 12 sheet of paper.   Here they are;

This is a new class that I'll be having on Sunday, Aug 21st, @ 2 pm -5pm, fee is $20, for 10 cards envelopes, a band to hold them and instructions.   If you'd like to join us,  please RSVP now.

Happy Stamping!

Teresa
