Teresa Buchholz, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

I fell in love with stamping with my first card and became a Stampin' Up Independent Demonstrator in February 2009. Creating fresh project ideas, cards, scrapbook pages and gifts is more that just stamps and ink, it is about sharing part of yourself with crafters you love.

Another Beach Card!

September 21, 2016 2 Comments

My post on Monday was really late.  I knew that the Try Stamping on Tuesday post was due to post so I needed to set that up for my post on Tuesday.  All of a sudden my computer tells me that it will shut down if I do not plug into a power source!  Seriously, I totally freaked!  My computer was plugged in, and my battery was at 5%.  Okay, no problem, I'll just use my iPad.  Then I realized all the info was only on my laptop.   My husband, (my hero) found a place that repairs computers that was close to our home, but was closing in 10 minutes.  Close but not that close!  He promised to take it first thing in the morning!  He did and I got it back this evening!  It was just a bad power supply!   I suppose it is better to be late than to not arrive at all!  Here is my card for this weeks challenge.img_0116The optional them was die cuts!  Here is the sketch!sketch_30_kkI hope you will give it a try and enter a card for Challenge #289!   It was really super fun!  I look forward to seeing what you post!   Here are the SU supplies I used!  I can not tell a lie those cut die cut seagulls are from Impression Obsession!  If you are wondering how outlined the details on the gulls, I used Whisper White Craft ink and a blender pen!

Love those colors together and the birds look amazing…both kinds! I totally thought the sea gulls were metal brads. Great job as always. Sorry about the power cord problem. I had to replace mine after that crazy power surge that blew up a lot of our small appliances. Luckily, though the power source was plugged in and, the inside turned to dust like the innards of our cd alarm clock, power strips, and so on, my laptop was unplugged. Whew.

Anyway, glad your computer is okay! Happy stamping!
