Sometimes you need a sympathy card. I am under the impression that these cards can be sad and elegant enough to get a small smile from the reciever. I think that one of the best sympathy sayings ever was from a long retired set Called Close to my Heart. I didn’t keep any of the other stamps when it retired just the saying which I have paired with a current stamp set Awesomely Artistic. Here is my card.
There have been other sympathy sets and sayings but of all of them this saying is my favorite size and font ever by Stampin’ Up. This card is easy to make and I am sure you have a sympathy saying that is your favorite that you could use. The ribbon I used under the say has long been retired. It was 3/8″ Marina Mist Taffeta. Did anyone else notice that there is no Marina Mist colored ribbon in the new catalog? You could just cut a piece of card stock 4 1/4″ to use if you don’t have any ribbon!
