Life is always good, but every once in a while something happens, to remind you that it's not always to your linking! Well, that would be the case with today's cards. My stamping sister Becky Helms made today's card. Becky was so much fun to stamp with, she loved punch art as much as I did, her daughter Rachel loved pink more than I did and we always had a great time stamping together. NOTICE, I said had? Yep, that's right, life was good and then it happened, her husband got a job in Washington, not D.C. but state. Now, that reminded me that life was not always to my liking, but I sucked it up and dealt with in my usual way (a lot of fussing which did me no good). I've adjusted, it helps that we were able to get google video chat to work so we can actually see each other and share stuff we have made. How cool is that?
Becky sent me an email on Tuesday with this card attached to the email! Isn't it cute? I loved the stamp set Cheep Talk. Can't believe it retired. So sad.
She said; "Going to a card club this weekend. Do you think it is worthy? " I emailed her back and said they would love it. Well, I guess she thought about it over night and she might of even said "what would Teresa do?". So, today I get this super fabulous remake of this card in an email.
Oh, yeah! BLINGED it up she did! She made me so proud! I love it! A bird punch, dimensionals, a rhinestone and a totally blinged up card. It is amazing what you can do with just a few tools!
Thanks for sharing Becky! I can't wait for you to move back to North Carolina !
