Teresa Buchholz, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

I fell in love with stamping with my first card and became a Stampin' Up Independent Demonstrator in February 2009. Creating fresh project ideas, cards, scrapbook pages and gifts is more that just stamps and ink, it is about sharing part of yourself with crafters you love.

Cherry Cobbler Butterfly Basics

March 6, 2015 1 Comment

I don't know why I decided to use Cherry Cobbler for this card.  I actually saw the paper in my rack and thought, hey I think that would make a get color for a flower.  As usual, there is nothing on this card that resembles a flower, but I like it anyway.  I used my Aqua Painter and Cherry Cobbler reinker to splatter the card after stamping the ferns.  I colored Linen Thread and Pearls with a SU Black Marker for the eyes and antennas of the butterfly.  I got a lot of ink on my fingers making this card but, inky fingers make me happy.  You might not want to try this is you don't like getting your fingers inky!  :o)  Cecil went down stairs when I started splattering the ink, but he did approve the dried card!
