Teresa Buchholz, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

I fell in love with stamping with my first card and became a Stampin' Up Independent Demonstrator in February 2009. Creating fresh project ideas, cards, scrapbook pages and gifts is more that just stamps and ink, it is about sharing part of yourself with crafters you love.

Edgelites Dies are so much FUN!

January 10, 2012 Leave a Comment

We used them to make a  card holder box for stamp club and now look what you get when you angle the accent across the page.

I love this technique!  I made this when, my edgelit slipped and I didn't notice it had moved.   There are no mistakes in stamping, just happy new customization techniques.  That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

Seriously, stamping is such a calming thing, instead of fussing at my "self" for lack of attention, I just say, ' oopsie', now what am I going to do with this!   "Self" always comes up with something cool so there aren't any mistakes in stamping, just happy endings.

Here's how I went from 'oopsie'  to super fabulous using just 1 sheet of  Pool Party card stock cut 8 1/2" x 4 1/4"  and a another piece of customized Whisper White card stock.  ;)    I stamped the Bordering on Romance Flowers in the corner, used my blender pen to add some gorgeous pink color, ran the Pool Party thru " Biggie"  with the Manhattan Flower Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, add a piece of scrap ribbon, some pearls and I have a FABULOUS CARD!

Happy stamping and endings!
