Teresa Buchholz, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

I fell in love with stamping with my first card and became a Stampin' Up Independent Demonstrator in February 2009. Creating fresh project ideas, cards, scrapbook pages and gifts is more that just stamps and ink, it is about sharing part of yourself with crafters you love.

Filigree Christmas Bauble

November 12, 2014 Leave a Comment

When I first saw this stamp Christmas Bauble, I thought of a dozen different things I could do with this stamp.  Well, this is the first thing I have actually done with it!  IMG_4210

If you aren't a fussy cutter, you might not want to try this card.  I actually stamped the bauble on the back side of Red Glimmer paper, and cut out the red part.  Next I stamped the image with VersaMark on a Window Sheet and embossed with Silver.  I also stamped a scrap of Old Olive with the VersaMark and added some details with my Blendibilities to the leaves.   The last step of this card was to emboss the Red Card Stock, cut the Joy and Deco Label out of Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper, fussy cut out all the pieces and assemble.   True to my usual style, there is a Rhinestone in the center of the bauble.   I used my SU Silicone craft mat to apply the adhesive to all the little parts.   That mat is such a must have!  It is only 6 x 6 and I keep it on my desktop, so putting tape runner or glue on something is so easy and totally lacks the sticky mess that used to get on my stamping mat.   Here are the items I used to make this card.
