Happy Monday! I hope everyone had an inky weekend. Mine was very inky, and I got so much done! Here is a card I did, that everything is heat embossed except the butterflies. The butterflies are embossed with an embosslit.
I used my stamping buddy( always use tyour buddy 1st) then stamped it with VersaMark and used a small spoon to spoon on the embossing powder. I am very sorry to say that both the Melon Mambo and Wild Wasbi embossing poweders are retired but, we do have a new color, Blushing Bride! Did you know that even if your favorite color doesn't come in powder, you can stamp your stamp in VersaMark and then into your favorite color and use Clear embossing powder? Yes, it works and now you can emboss with any color. It is much easier to use colored embossing powder, but if you need a favorite color, this would work fabuously. Just remember to use your buddy first, it keeps those small flecks of embossing powder from sticking to unwanted places on your card.
