French Foliage
I’m trying to stop using the same stamps and colors all the time. It’s not all that easy (for me anyway). After repeatedly reaching for shades of pink, and my new “like it a lot” color combo of pool party and more mustard, I finally came up with this card. Okay, I know that Gently Falling, my most recent stamp addition and French Foliage are both leaves, but seriously, I haven’t used French Foliage since July.
I did use pool party in it but I used other colors that I rarely use, like Bravo Burgundy and Cajun Craze. I even used pearls instead of rhinestones. I guess you can say, I Gently Fell off the color wagon with my first attempt, since I couldn’t break completely away from the Pool Party color.
Here’s what I used to make this card.
Stamps: French Foliage, Thank You Kindly; Cardstock: Bravo Burgundy, Island Indigo, Pool Party, Whisper White; Inks: Cajun Craze, Bravo Burgundy, Island Indigo, & Pool Party; Tools: Big Shot, Designer Frames, & Stripes Embossing Folders, Basic Pearls, Pool Party 3/8” Ruffled Ribbon, and Scallop Edge Border punch.
I’ll try again tomorrow. Wish me luck!
