The stamp set Healing Hugs has a gorgeous rose that has details like a 2-step stamp but it’s just a single stamp! I love the way the rose has so much detail. These days it is all about coloring the images and some people don’t like to color or aren’t able to due to health issues. With the help of the stamparatus and stamps like these, they are able to make beautiful cards. This stamp is perfect for my assisted living group where I volunteer to teach stamping classes. They are going to love this stamp. It makes me happy to see them so excited about the cards they make! To get the roses to overlap I used the masking technique. I simply stamped the image on a sticky note and cut it out. Then I placed the sticky note on the Whisper White Card Stock and stamped the other 2 images, lift the sticky note and stamp the final rose. I did it this way because when I stamped the rose first and masked it to stamp the other 2 roses I had larger white areas between the other 2 roses. If your white area is noticeable you can use a dauber to lightly add a little color to your card. Supplies used are listed at bottom of page.

Thank you Donna! It is one of the best stamps they have done in a while, I hope there are more like this in the Holiday Catalog!
