Teresa Buchholz, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

I fell in love with stamping with my first card and became a Stampin' Up Independent Demonstrator in February 2009. Creating fresh project ideas, cards, scrapbook pages and gifts is more that just stamps and ink, it is about sharing part of yourself with crafters you love.

I’m so glad to be back home!

January 25, 2012 Leave a Comment

Hello my inky friends!

I am so glad to be home!   My husband and I left Thursday to visit his mom in Savannah, GA and then went on to Clearwater, FL to see my parents .  We weren't able to see either over the holidays with all of my hubbys Dr. appointments and the wait  to see what to do next.  Hopefully, that is all behind us now and we had a short window to go visit before his treatment starts.

We left on Thursday and came back on Monday.   I was brave, I didn't take any of my fabulous stamps with me, after all it was only 4 days without my stamps.  I would be okay with out stamping for 4 days.  "Self" said just take a few, or you'll be sorry.   OMG! I hate it when she is right!  There I was in FL with Sale-A-Bration starting on Tuesday and no stamps.

First thing I did when I came home was go up to my stamping loft , and play with my stamps!   The smell of rubber stamps is like chocolate…..gives me a warm fuzzy feeling!      So, here is a card I made with my free S-A-B stamp set Fresh Vintage!

The card base is 8.5" x 5.5"  Very Vanilla, the background was stamped     with Lucky Limeade, Soft Suede, & Pool Party inks.   I cut a strip of 2" x 5" (also Free) Everyday Enchantment Designer Series paper, notched one end and adhered it to my Very Vanilla card stock.  Then with a scrap of Very Vanilla I stamped the banner with Calypso Coral, Thanks inside of the banner with Soft Suede, and the Pool Party flower medallion from Fresh Vintage.  Then, I cut them out with my fussy cutting scissors.  I used a scrap of Soft Suede card stock and my Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch to cut out my scallop.  I punched a hole thru the center of the medallion and scallop circle and added a brad from the (free again) Everyday Enchantment Ribbon and Brad Pack!   Free is always good!

Host a party and get yours free too!

HAPPY STAMPING!
