Teresa Buchholz, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

I fell in love with stamping with my first card and became a Stampin' Up Independent Demonstrator in February 2009. Creating fresh project ideas, cards, scrapbook pages and gifts is more that just stamps and ink, it is about sharing part of yourself with crafters you love.

Imagine You Are on Vacation In A Garden!

June 28, 2016 Leave a Comment

It's Tueday, time for the Try Stampin' on Tuesday challenge # 277.  I found this challenge very hard so I am glad I had it done early!  Here is the sketch.af3e7a11-fe56-45c3-9ec0-ba6e821dfcb8Optional theme was vacation…..I was struggling with the sketch so my card doesn't have a vacation theme. I am sure it may seem super easy to some, but it was was just a real challenge, with many color and stamp changes for me.  I wanted to use some snazzy colors, but then I remembered, I hadn't used the new In Colors Peakaboo Peach or Sweet Sugarplum.  Before I show you my card, please hold onto your seats.  The color combo is so not me!   Drum roll please!IMG_6988Everybody ok?  No you are not seeing things, I actually used Rich Razzlebery along with Sweet Sugarplum.  I seriously can not remember when I used it last.  Thing about moving (besides I will never do it again) is you see things that you haven't used in a while and say wow, I forgot about that color totally!   Then you realize that in SU's own sneaky way they plotted to make you use it, by making a new In Color that pairs with is so nicely.   Let's just say that maybe Peekaboo Peach will be on another card soon, but for now it is still safely wrapped in it's original plastic!     Here are the stampin' supplies I used to make this card.

Please check out all the cards over at Try Stampin' on Tuesday!  Better yet please join in by making a card for the challenge! You may be picked as one of the top three!  Either way you will be very inspired by all the entries!  The design team has some AWESOME cards this week!
