I love using all my pieces of left over paper. With a little planning, you can use most of it and know one will ever know! Here is a card where I cut my layers and then used the center of the designer paper to cut out my shapes.
Here is what it looked like before I put it together!
Next, I glued the two mats together.
Then I placed the mats on my Peekaboo Peach card base. I used a piece of scrap Very Vanilla and cut out the delicate part of the butterflies and adhered them to the butterflies I had cut out of the designer paper mat.
