Teresa Buchholz, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

I fell in love with stamping with my first card and became a Stampin' Up Independent Demonstrator in February 2009. Creating fresh project ideas, cards, scrapbook pages and gifts is more that just stamps and ink, it is about sharing part of yourself with crafters you love.

Merry Mice

November 7, 2017 5 Comments

Once Christmas had come and gone last year, I decided I really wanted the stamp set Merry Mice.   I know it sounds crazy, it was retiring and I just had to have it. Now 11 months later I have a card with the set.  I used my new Stampin' blends to color it and I am really loving how things come out using them!

There are a lot of retired supplies used in this card.  I used some old paper with the new Merry Music Designer Series Paper (144623), here is a list of my inks.

I’m glad you are using retired stuff instead of pushing all the new things! All of us have retired items that need to be used. I like what you did with the Merry Mice. I made one of those pop up cards with it last year. You know there one that opens the long way and has four panels?

The card is adorable. It’s great to know older products can be used in a new way.

I *love* this card and it’s not just because it uses Merry Mice (though that doesn’t hurt!) You did a beautiful job with an innovative design and non-traditional colors that nonetheless comes across as traditionally “christmassy” nonetheless. I’m always impressed by your imagination and skill. Raleigh is a far less fun place without you!
