Teresa Buchholz, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

I fell in love with stamping with my first card and became a Stampin' Up Independent Demonstrator in February 2009. Creating fresh project ideas, cards, scrapbook pages and gifts is more that just stamps and ink, it is about sharing part of yourself with crafters you love.

My Little Snowfriend!

December 7, 2012 3 Comments

I have had these three nested containers since June. They were a vey ugly yellow and green polka dot pattern. You know I love polka dots, so if I say they were ugly, you can be sure, they were ugly.
After finding out that I was not genius material when it came to using spray paint, I gave up and they sat all streaked in my garage for a week or 2, maybe 3. I decided to embrace the disgrace, and fix my mess. Here it is!

Sponges, yes I can sponge paint like the best of them! Added some retired SU ribbon, and corduroy buttons! Used my SU black marker for the eyes, rolled up some orange paper for the nose, used the last of my old SU black Rhinestones for the mouth.
You know everything must have bling!

Happy Inking!

I second Arlene's comment! Way to rock those boxes. I didn't think any paint was going to stick to that weird finish they have. The hat looks especially cool. Love the texture you managed to get out of that. Is there anything inside the snowman? Seems like most of your xmas creations are full of one kind of candy or another. 🙂

Sorry, no candy this time!  I had some but, it disappeared! :0)
