Talk about late! My dear friend Beverly says if she is not 10 minutes early, she considers herself late! Oh no…….I am so late, I will never recover! I promised to post this card days ago and now it is Sunday evening and I still haven't posted! In my defense, I just want to say "I got carried away by the sea, that's my story and I'm sticking to it!." I arrived in Florida late Tuesday night. I (notoriously not a morning person) was up at 5am Wednesday waiting on the sun so I could go to the beach, aka my happy place! I posted a few pictures from my favorite beach and said I would have a card featuring the stamp set From Land to Sea the next morning. Here is the card I made and did not get posted!
Time flew by and I had to go to the airport and pick up to other NC demonstrators that had flown in for On Stage Live in Tampa. They forced me, twisted my arm, pulled my hair and made me take them to go walk on the beach! I swear! As always the sea caputured me and took me far away looking for shells! Oh my! Next thing you know I am not home and the demonstrators from South Carolina have arrived. Moral of story, don't get caught in traffic or stay home until everyone arrives. One thing lead to another and next thing you know, we are all on another beach having a grand time eating seafood, I swear I have no clue how this happened!
To make the card using From Sea to Land, here is what you"ll need:
Looooove all the monochrome elements and, of course, the happy turtle! This set is so fun. I hope you had a great time at whatever it was that was live on stage (you must tell me more!) Txt me when you are free to play and you can tell me all about the trip while we make cards. I’m so far behind on making xmas cards, I’m beginning to panic!
