I haven't had alot of time to stamp these past few weeks. So many things are happening in my life that I seem to never get to my stamp room. I never had a chance to use the Sale-A-Bration stamp set Nature's Perfection that was available during March. I know some of you have this stamp so, I thought I would post this card and hope it inspires you to stamp. I am trying to step outside my comfort zone and use those colors that aren't on my go to list. Okay, let's just say, I am trying not to use Bermuda Bay and Coastal Cabana on every card. My dad was in the Army, and his uniform was the color of Mossy Meadow. I that saw that cololr everyday growing up, and really never knew it could be matched with any other color than black boots. Can you imagine my lack of excitement with this color after looking at it daily for 22 years. I have given it my best shot and when mixed with a color I like, Soft Sky, it really is not so bad, but then if you add bling, of course it is fabulous!
Hope you like my latest attempt to step out of my color comfort zone! Here is what I used to creat this Army green masterpiece;

I know what you mean about army green (though it's one of my favorite colors to wear) because I feel that way about navy blue since I had to wear it every single day in Catholic school since that's what our uniforms were. It was hot (navy blue wool in FL? In an un-air-conditioned school?! Whose idea was that? ) and so so boring to look at. I don't think I've worn a single navy blue clothing item since, and I have flat out refused to put any kind of uniform on since then, too. Anyway, your card looks fantastic. You're so right about the bling!
