Teresa Buchholz, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

I fell in love with stamping with my first card and became a Stampin' Up Independent Demonstrator in February 2009. Creating fresh project ideas, cards, scrapbook pages and gifts is more that just stamps and ink, it is about sharing part of yourself with crafters you love.

Playful Penguins!

September 15, 2019 1 Comment

I love it when I make a card that just makes me smile and say that is so stinking cute!  Maybe I am just excited that there is Puff Paint in the Holiday Catalog.  Here is my card!

I started out with a scrap of Whisper White card stock and the High Seas 3D embossing folder.  Once it was embossed, I tore it along the lines.  Now I placed my cut out penguins where I wanted them.  Now for the puff paint….wait it didn’t puff, hmmm?  Now I am looking at the bottle, label says apply a thin line, then heat with a heat tool to puff paint.  I get so excited I never stop to read the directions until it doesn’t work! It looked so good after I heated it!  I could not resist putting a pop pom on the little guys hat!

Here are my Stampin’ Up supplies I used.

If you would like to make this card you can RSVP of my National Card Making Day Event!  Oct, 5, 2019 at 11am to 5pm.  We will be making 15 cards, lunch and snacks included!  RSVP here. Bring your adhesive, paper snips and your favorite tools!

Your event sounds SO fun. I wish I could be there! I love the card you made. The puff paint looks so cool and I was *very* tempted by that penguin stamp set. It’s got the best, most realistic penguins I’ve seen in a stamp set *anywhere*. 🙂
