Teresa Buchholz, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

I fell in love with stamping with my first card and became a Stampin' Up Independent Demonstrator in February 2009. Creating fresh project ideas, cards, scrapbook pages and gifts is more that just stamps and ink, it is about sharing part of yourself with crafters you love.

Snow Swirled Pool Party

December 13, 2011 Leave a Comment

You have to admit, it has been a long time since I used Pool Party and More Mustard together.    I couldn't help myself and since I didn't use More Mustard, and it is (finally) a Christmas card, I don't think this counts as falling off the color wagon.   Just fyi, I made a card with More Mustard and Wild Wasabi, and I'm thinking it doesn't count either!    Without further delay, here is my Christmas card.

Go ahead, admit it, Pool Party rocks this simple card!    Here are the supplies I used:

Stamp Set: Snow Swirled

Papers:  Pool Party & Whisper White card stock and Silver Glimmer

Tools:  "Biggie" and Snow Burst Textured Embossing Folder

To make the clear oval, I cut out an oval in the middle of a piece of chip board and placed that over the textured embossing folder, before running it thru "Biggie".   Only the area that makes contact with the chip board will be embossed.

Happy Stamping!
