Teresa Buchholz, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

I fell in love with stamping with my first card and became a Stampin' Up Independent Demonstrator in February 2009. Creating fresh project ideas, cards, scrapbook pages and gifts is more that just stamps and ink, it is about sharing part of yourself with crafters you love.

Stamping as usual!

July 20, 2011 1 Comment

I am home and stamping as usual.  The first thing I had to stamp was an invitation for a wedding shower!  I'm proud to say I used my digital studio for part of this card.  Okay, it was only for a very small part.   I couldn't believe it but I didn't have a stamp that said ' You're Invited'.   So, here it was my big chance to use my digital studio.  Bonnie, my class instructor in Salt Lake City will be so proud!  Here's how I made this card:

I used Very Vanilla for my base, then for some reason, I strayed  from the normal (who me?) and cut  Pool Party 5" x 4" and embossed it with biggie.   Next I printed a sheet with 6 evenly spaced 'You're Invited' on another piece of Very Vanilla, using My Digital Studio.   Then I cut that piece of card stock into 6 rectangles that were 4"x 3".   Next, I used my new free stamp from convention,  Best Friends Forever(by the way it's true what they say about free stamps, they do stamp the best!) and stamped the leaves in the lower left and upper right corners.  Next I used Fabulous Flowers ( which I bought and really did not stamp as well as the free stamps) to stamp the small flowers.  I also stamped the large flower on the scraps of very vanilla.  I cut this out  & shaded it, then used a dimensional to pop it up.   Then I was done………or so I thought…….how plain it looked.   I whipped out the glittering diamonds and my Tombow and look at the sparkle!  It wasn't dry, but I couldn't wait any longer.  I had to share, the dazzling diamonds looks kinda Calyspo Coral in the picture.

Sharing what I love!

Teresa
