Teresa Buchholz, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

I fell in love with stamping with my first card and became a Stampin' Up Independent Demonstrator in February 2009. Creating fresh project ideas, cards, scrapbook pages and gifts is more that just stamps and ink, it is about sharing part of yourself with crafters you love.

Sunflower Treats!

August 29, 2016 3 Comments

Hi Hi!

It has been a rough few weeks with me not posting regularly or holding classes.   I am sure there will still be bumps in the road, but my parents are safe in assisted living.  The facility is on the same road as I live on and the first night they spent there my dad showed up at my door bright and early.   We took him back and they didn't even know he was gone.   My dad is a retired Army Green Beret and a bit sneaky.   After this first week, they seem to be settling into a routine.  I am trying to catch up and hopefully, I will be able to get back to offering classes.  I spent the weekend making Sunflower Treats like the one that my friend Sandy had given me last November.  I modified the box to make it a faster project and use of some of my old retired ribbons.  They are so perfect for a birthday party I will be going to in October.   I love my Stampin' Up trimmer but sometimes you just need to use the Simply Scored Scoring Tool.   Here is my treat box.

Your sunflower is just beautiful. Do you have directions or measurements for the box? tfs Debie from sunny California

My photo editing program is dying, looking for a new program! The pinkish area is suppose to be white.

Oh wow…talk about close to home! Hopefully they’ll get comfortable in their new digs and the place will start to feel like routine soon. Remind them: It’s like going on an ocean cruise only there’s no boat, and you don’t actually go anywhere! Or maybe go ahead and tell your dad that there *is* an actual ocean surrounding the place so he can only come visit when they land in port a couple of times a month. 😉
It has to be hard not getting to do your classes. I’m sure everyone there missed them so much! I miss you and I got a new phone so I now should actually get my calls and texts. The old one was keeping secrets! I had no idea people were trying to reach me. My phone certainly wasn’t going to tell me. Errgh!
