Teresa Buchholz, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

I fell in love with stamping with my first card and became a Stampin' Up Independent Demonstrator in February 2009. Creating fresh project ideas, cards, scrapbook pages and gifts is more that just stamps and ink, it is about sharing part of yourself with crafters you love.

Tea Shoppe with Pink Bling!

January 12, 2012 Leave a Comment

I love SU!  Some one at the home office must read my blog, heard me whine, and then, they put the Blossom Builders Kit in the new catalog just for me!   It has two 12×12 sheets of flowers (not sure what to do with those) and 1 sheet of 30 PINK rhinestones in 2 different sizes!   How fabulous is that?   Now, I don't have to hide from the SU police when using pink bling!

Today, feeling inspired with my pink bling, I decided to use the new Tea Shoppe stamp.   Honestly, it is a beautiful stamp set but, I have been super intimidated by it, I couldn't figure out anything to do with it, but after about 3 hours of determination (or hard headness) this is my card.

The tea cup was made using a technique I'll be teaching at my Stamp Fabulous Ink Camp on Sunday Jan. 15, called Black Magic.  I actually stamped the tea cup on black card stock, with white craft ink, and let it dry.   I added color with my SU Pencils and then I misted it with Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Mist.   I also, used the mist on the black circle I used to mount the cup.   I embossed Hello Doily, with Melon Mambo embossing powder on silver card stock, added some seam binding and Pink bling and here you have a card with Pink bling.

It just doesn't get much better than PINK bling!

XOXO to SU for the PINK bling!

Happy Blinging!
