Teresa Buchholz, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

I fell in love with stamping with my first card and became a Stampin' Up Independent Demonstrator in February 2009. Creating fresh project ideas, cards, scrapbook pages and gifts is more that just stamps and ink, it is about sharing part of yourself with crafters you love.

The Day Almost Slipped Away!

June 29, 2018 Leave a Comment

The last two days slipped away without posting and it almost happened again today.   I guess my motto should be better late than never!    The day started out so well.  I was at the beach by 8:15 am, early for me but Izzy has issues with sleeping past 6 am.  I walked and was back in my chair chilling it was so beautiful, and there was no one on my beach except for the guy putting up chairs and umbrellas. The breeze was blowing away my worries, and I felt better.  Suddenly the wind picked up and one of those blue umbrellas went ripping past me startling me out of my pleasant beach zone.   The sky darkened and I was beginning to feel a drop or two.  As looked around here came 3 more umbrellas.  I head home, :o( and as I stepped out of the shower my husband called to tell me there was a problem with one of our rental units and I needed to go there now.  Geeze can’t even get a break and I still haven’t had my coffee yet.  I am home and posting what I should have done yesterday!

Every Thursday I volunteer at an assisted living teaching my cute little ladies how to make cards!  They were so happy making these cards. Here is a close up of of the card made with the Swirly Scibbles Thinlits dies and a few random star dies from various other sets.  The great thing about this is that I used the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets and applied it to the card stock before I cut the images so all they had to do was peel and stick.  I used the Stamparatus so the were able to stamp the Happy 4th staright!  One of the ladies shakes a lot and usually just watches.  Today with the adhesive sheets and Stamparatus she was so proud to make her her 2 cards!

You Have to try these Multipurpose Adhesive Shdeets!
