The last two weeks have been challenging for me and I haven’t been able to blog. My husband finished his final chemo treatment the first week of May. We had been looking forward to this for a long time! Unfortunately, the weeks of Chemo had build up and longer recovery times after each treatment. Just as he started to feel better, I began to cough……yep, I had bronchitis and he has been taking care of me for the last week.
I had a few classes scheduled and the first one was a stamped and framed picture. I called this class all about me!
The picture is 5″ x 11″, it is done in mostly the New 2013-2014 In Colors. I used all my favorite stamps, current and retired, that reflect the things that I love! The coast, flowers, hummingbirds, Paris, and even butterflies. I stamped the saying, You only live once, but, if you do it right, once is enough! It was a fun class, no two came out the same, and several people went home and made more for gifts. I love to see people leave class inspired and still wanting to stamp. I would love to take credit for coming up with this idea but, I met a demonstrator from Utah and she shared her picture with me. I met so many people that day, I can’t remember her name, but she was with the group Dazzlin’ Duchesses. I hope she contacts me so I can give her credit for this fabulous project.
I’ll have more cards to share tomorrow.
I hope you have an inky Week!

You poor thing! I had no idea…but I'm back from SF now and ready to stamp again when you are. I hope you're feeling lots better, but if you've relapsed, let me know what I can do and I'll be there to annoy and Florence Nightingale you. 🙂 I miss you!
